Beginning today, more than 40 ramps along Interstate 5, Interstate 205, state Highway 14 and state Highway 500 in Clark County will see intermittent closures for roadway improvements.

Washington State Department of Transportation contractor Granite Construction will work from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. on weekdays and weekends, dependent on weather conditions, to create smoother ramps, improve traction and add lane markers for better lane visibility.

This $5 million project is scheduled for completion this summer.

Travelers are urged to use caution when driving through work zones.

Specific lane and ramp closure information will be available at wsdot.com/Travel/Real-time/Map/.

People can receive real-time travel information via the WSDOT mobile app or by signing up for email updates and alerts.
