CAMAS – Sherry Keen has been named Camas Lion of the Month for February 2024, according to the service organization.
During the month of February, Keene attended the 100 Women Who Care of Clark County quarterly event where she dropped her name in the hat with hopes of being chosen as one of the three presenters that evening. To her surprise, Keene was randomly drawn and was given the opportunity to speak about the charity of her choice, Camas/Washougal Treasure House Food Bank. Sherry spoke to the group of women about the Weekend Food Backpack Program.
Keene also brought the Lions a new member, Karen Wales, and acted as the project lead for the Odyssey Middle School Shark Tank project.
