Letter: Invest in Ridgefield schools

By Rheta Rubenstein, RIDGEFIELD
Published: March 28, 2024, 6:00am

As a volunteer door-knocker for the Ridgefield schools bond drive, I have spoken with many residents. One person said they cannot afford the cost. It is true. Schools cost money. But note: this bond will pass eventually. As more and more families choose to live in Ridgefield, parents will predominate and will vote for new buildings. But by then the costs will have increased substantially. We will all pay more if we wait.

Education is an investment in our community. The money will help us build a stronger, smarter, community of wise and caring decision-makers. Vote yes.
