Letter: Democrats are erasing women

In response to the article, “Women’s health gets new attention,” I would submit the following: Joe Biden and the Democratic Party are pandering to votes but turn a blind eye to reality. It isn’t Republicans who have “no clue about the power of women.”

Democrats are erasing women. Not only are they advocating substituting the word “woman” with things like “persons who menstruate,” etc., they are undermining all that women have gained in the sports world, mandating the inclusion of transgender people.

Women are struggling to put food on the table. We are limiting our children’s activities because we cannot afford fuel, we are monitoring our children in a public school system that wants to sexualize them in elementary school, in an education system that thinks its job is to raise children, not educate them.

There is a threat to our safety because of millions of undocumented illegal immigrants living here. Drug users and the mentally ill live on the streets and defecate on our sidewalks, and prosecutors aren’t prosecuting. Laws have been passed to hamstring law enforcement that are brave enough to step up and protect the innocent.

These things are happening because it’s Democrats who have no clue about the power of women.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
