‘Three’s Company,” the classic television show that aired for eight seasons on ABC from 1977 to 1984, gave American pop culture some memorable characters. One of them is making a resurgence. Helen Roper, who was the long-suffering, wise-cracking wife of strict landlord Stanley Roper, had her own distinct look. Battle Ground joined cities around the country in celebrating Mrs. Roper’s iconic style with a pub crawl to six local bars in the town’s downtown area on Saturday. Dozens of participants from Clark County came prepared for the fun with vibrant caftans flowing, curly red wigs, colorful jewelry and raucous laughter.
