Mallory Vancleave hit a home run and drove in six runs and Mckenzie Bowling added a double and home run as the Ridgefield softball team beat Columbia River 16-5 in a 2A Greater St. Helens League game Friday in Salmon Creek.
Vancleave went 3 for 5, and Bowling was 2 for 4 with two runs, two RBI and two walks.
Kaylen Wingerd went 2 for 3 with three runs, two RBI and three walks for the Spudders, who jumped out to a 9-0 lead after 2.5 innings. Charlie Harris was 4 for 5 with two runs.
Aurora Wiley hit a two-run home run for River.
