Letter: Let residents decide on McGillivray

By Johnnie L. Brown, VANCOUVER
Published: March 22, 2024, 6:00am

The McGillivray Boulevard Safety and Mobility Project is apparently ignoring community feedback on its potential design options. The design appears to make living and driving along the McGillivray corridor more difficult.

It seems that just keeping the current design and repaving McGillivray was not considered as an option. Forcing any of its current design options on the community is not acceptable. Cameras and law enforcement seem a more reasonable approach to control speeding or dangerous driving.

The expressed will of those living along McGillivray Boulevard should be what determines whether or not any changes will be made.
