Letter: Leave no doubt in election

By Steve Friebel, VANCOUVER
Published: March 22, 2024, 6:00am

“American freedom requires a strong leader … we must all vote this November to maximize ballot counts. There can be no question of the results.” These words represent about 12 percent of Mr. Schimelpfenig’s recent letter and I believe that they are absolutely correct and exactly on point. I am inspired by his insight and boldness and I am in total agreement with these statements.

As might be expected, some readers may have the opinion that this 12 percent was hidden among unsubstantiated, inaccurate, false statements and additional balderdash. Nonetheless, as he clearly supports our continuing efforts to keep our country strong, he has made a righteous step in the appropriate direction.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
