The Capture Camas History Contest seeks black-and-white photographs of downtown Camas, currently or in the past. Anyone can submit photographs by emailing high resolution JPEG images along with your name, age and connection to Camas to promotions@downtowncamas.com. Submissions are subject to future promotional use by the Downtown Camas Association. Submissions will be accepted through March 25. The contest is held in conjunction with the Spring Into History First Friday event and Asian Cultural Fair on April 5, when photographs will be displayed. Attendees will vote for a People’s Choice winner, who will receive a gift card. Images collected during the next 10 years will be compiled into a fine art album, planned for 2033.
