Local law enforcement agencies will be increasing DUI patrols for St. Patrick’s Day weekend.

The Vancouver Police Department, Battle Ground Police Department, Washington State Patrol and Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency will be staffing up to watch for impaired driving and other unsafe driving habits, such as distracted driving and unrestrained passengers, according to agency news releases.

Agencies encourage people to plan a sober ride home from any holiday festivities.
