All eastbound lanes and the left westbound lane on state Highway 14 at the Lieser Road overpass will be closed periodically overnight through the end of March as the Washington State Department of Transportation’s contractor crews make repairs to the overpass.
The bridge was damaged in July 2022 when an oversized truck hauling a wind turbine blade on eastbound Highway 14 struck its underside. The impact exposed rebar and scattered concrete debris along the highway below, according to WSDOT.
The eastbound lanes and left lane of westbound Highway 14 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. overnight Thursday, March 18-19 and March 29-20. Travelers will detour around the closure using the Lieser Road off- and onramps.
