Letter: Support Ridgefield schools

By Jackie Ferdowsali, RIDGEFIELD
Published: March 14, 2024, 6:00am

George Washington stated, “Knowledge is in every country the surest basis of public happiness.” Ensuring students have spaces that foster learning not only provides for a physical need but also gives one of the greatest gifts.

Let’s show students that we prioritize their learning, future and our community. Let’s continue the great tradition of public school support that Ridgefield has built a strong foundation on. Voting yes on Propositions 10 and 11 not only says to our future leaders and community members that we support and believe in you but that we as a community also care for each other.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
