Letter: Becoming ungodly causes problems

The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy, chapter 3: Verses 1-4: “Know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemous, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.”

Jesus says in Matthew 24:4-8, “Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. … And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.”

Daniel 4:17 says: “The most high rules over the kingdom of men, setting over them the lowliest of men.” This is what we are now experiencing because of all our ungodliness, including abortion, homosexuality, transgenderism, etc. Psalm 33:12 says, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.”

If we want to have a peaceful and prosperous nation again, we need to get back to having God for our Lord. May God have mercy on us.
