CHEHALIS — An employee at a youth detention center in Chehalis is facing charges for suspicion of plotting to start a prison riot earlier this year.

Chehalis Police Department arrested Michelle M. Goodman, 30, of Centralia, on Monday for allegedly being part of a conspiracy to commit a prison riot, according to a department press release.

Linda Bailey, administrative assistant of the Chehalis Police Department, said Goodman was employed with the Green Hill School, a medium and maximum youth detention center boys in Lewis County.

Jose L. Cisneros, 19, and an unnamed 17-year-old, both inmates, were also arrested for their alleged involvement in the plot, the news release states.

The Chehalis Police Department was notified in late February of a prison riot that occurred the month prior and started investigating. The press release says the investigation is ongoing.
