RIDGEFIELD — The Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce presented the Ridgefield Lions with its second annual Community Champions Award at the Lions’ monthly meeting on Feb. 28. Dawn Bell of Evergreen Home Loans, chamber president, presented the award to Josh Olson, Ridgefield Lions president.
“The award was given to the Lions because of all of the activities and giving back to the community that the organization does,” Bell said. “The chamber wanted to recognize and honor that we are proud to be in this community together with the Lions.”
“We’re so pleased that the chamber has honored us this way,” said Olson. “We work day-to-day to improve our community and to be able to take a moment to be recognized by a group such as the Chamber is wonderful.”
