Letter: Finally, a worthy candidate

By Ruth Ann Hughes, Vancouver

For the first time in a long time, I was actually excited to fill out my ballot for the presidential election. As my husband and I were voting for Nikki Haley, the mood was very different in our home than it has been in the last few elections.

I finally had a candidate I was proud to put my check mark next to.

I truly hope it’s a sign for a brighter future in politics
