Letter: Help others with rent control

By Bob Greenwald, VANCOUVER
Published: March 7, 2024, 6:00am

A short time ago the Legislature was unable to pass a simple rent control bill. All over the state rents on mobile homes, manufactured homes, and apartments have been going through the roof. Always remember you can’t take it with you.

What I read in Proverbs 28:8 gives me hope: “Whoever increases wealth by taking interest or profit from the poor amasses it for another who will be kind to the poor.”

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
