1B boys: Cold-shooting Columbia Adventist falls to Moses Lake Christian in loser-out state game

Columbia Adventist could not overcome cold shooting in the first half and lost to Moses Lake Christian 62-42 in a fourth-place semifinal game Friday at the Class 1B boys basketball state tournament in Spokane.

The Kodiaks shot 4 of 26 from the field in the first half as Moses Lake Christian took a 27-11 lead into halftime. Columbia Adventist could not get back into the game after that.

Collin Delaney led Columbia Adventist with 14 points, hitting 8 of 10 free throws. Logan Pierce added 12 points and Tristan White pulled down nine rebounds for the Kodiaks, who saw their season end at 18-10.
