Paging all book lovers: Independent bookstores are thriving in Clark County

Bookstores provide community with a wide variety of genres

Six independent bookstores have opened in Clark County since 2021, tapping into a national trend that a 2022 New York Times article described as “booming.” The Associated Press reports there are currently 2,433 independent bookstores in the U.S., twice as many as in 2016, and 190 more stores are slated to open next year.
