Sunday’s Game: Ridgefield Raptors 4, Bend Elks 3 (click here for boxscore)
Star of the Game: Jack Salmon (Gold West College) hit a tiebreaking solo home run in the sixth inning, which the Ridgefield bullpen made hold up as the Raptors salvaged the final game of a three-game set in Central Oregon.
Raptors bats: Ryder Cutlip (Gonzaga) went 3 for 4 for his first multi-hit game of the season. Salmon, Richard Tejada and Hunter Katschke each had two hits as the Raptors collected 12 hits.
Raptors arms: Cole Tryba, Carson Kruckman and Zach Todd combined for 5 1/3 scoreless innings in relief. Todd (Dallas Baptist) pitched the final two innings for his first save of the season. Starter Carson Revay (Fresno State) pitched 3 2/3 innings, allowing four hits, three earned runs, three walks and striking out three.
