Good vibes
The Historic Trust invites the community to celebrate the summer solstice from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight on the grounds of the O.O. Howard House at 750 Anderson St., Vancouver. A Space to Bloom Yoga will lead a gentle yoga session (no yoga mat required) and attendees of all ages can work on a make-and-take craft project. The event is free. Girl power
Magenta Theater presents “Wine, Women and Song” Friday through June 30 at 1108 Main St., Vancouver. This musical revue includes Broadway hits and other music about women: their struggles, heartbreaks, achievements and relationships to friends and family. Inspirational monologues tie the show together. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. June 21, 22, 28 and 29. Matinee shows are 2 p.m. June 23 and 30. Tickets are $20 at magentatheater.com.
Drum divas
Love Potion Magickal Perfumerie, 1104 Main St., Suite 100, Vancouver, will host a Women’s Drum Circle from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today. The group drums to African, Latin and Native American songs and pop songs. The event includes singing, dancing and a conga line. Guests can bring their own instruments or use what’s provided. Art and engines
Corridor Gallery celebrates all things automotive in “The Art of the Car,” the June exhibit at the Esther Short Building, 610 Esther St., Vancouver, with an artists’ reception and car show from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday. The show features cars, trucks, sport and classics from 1915-2018 in oil, acrylic, watercolor and photography.
