Wednesday’s Game: Ridgefield Raptors 11, Port Angeles Lefties 3 (click here for boxscore)
Stars of the Game: Justin Stranskey (Fresno State) and Andrew Grenert (Loyola U.) each had a double and drove in three runs as the Raptors (5-8) had their highest offensive output of the season with 11 runs on 11 hits.
Raptors bats: Ridgefield broke the game open with a six-run sixth inning highlighted by two-run doubles from Grenert and Stranskey. Ryder Cutlip (Oklahoma) hit his first home run of the season, a solo shot in the ninth. Hunter Katschke was 2 for 3 with a double and scored twice, and Luke Iverson (Utah Valley) was 2 for 4 with a run.
Raptors arms: Four Ridgefield pitchers combined for 13 strikeouts. Starter Wyatt Nichol (Pepperdine) struck out seven in his three innings. Tito Santos (Texas A&M) picked up the win with two scoreless, hitless innings and two strikeouts. Isaiah Magdaleno (Hawai’i) made his Raptors season debut with two scoreless innings and four strikeouts. Quentin Moreland (Olympic College) pitched the last two innings.
