Ridgefield Raptors Road Report: Ridgefield 4, Port Angeles 2

Tuesday’s Game: Ridgefield Raptors 4, Port Angeles Lefties 2 (click here for boxscore)

Star of the Game: Dasan Harris (Oklahoma) scored the go-ahead run in the seventh inning for the Raptors (4-8) after leading off with a single, stealing second base and coming home on Oklahoma teammate Patrick Engskov’s single.

Raptors bats: Harris went 3 for 3 with a two-run double in the second inning. Justin Stranskey (Fresno State) added an RBI double in the seventh for an insurance run.

Raptors arms: In his first start since pitching the first five innings of a combined no-hitter on June 11, Dylan Stewart (Pepperdine) added 3 2/3 innings no-hit innings to his streak before giving up a triple to the Lefties’ Robert Nunez (Embry-Riddle). Stewart then struck out Spencer Dickinson (Oklahoma Baptist) to finish a nine-inning scoreless run. … Stewart allowed one run on three hits with seven strikeouts and a walk to keep his ERA at 1.80. … Ridgefield HS grad Dillon Kirksey (Centralia CC) picked up the win in relief. … Carson Kruckman (Lower Columbia) and Camas HS grad Ryan McClaskey (Lower Columbia) retired the last nine Lefties batters in order.
