Ridgefield man dies after motorcycle crash on I-205 in Vancouver

Motorcycle left roadway and hit guardrail in June 12 crash

A motorcyclist who crashed on the morning of June 12 on Interstate 205 in Vancouver has died.

Ridgefield resident Jason T. Gromlovits, 42, was driving north on I-205, just south of Mill Plain Boulevard, around 5 a.m. when his motorcycle left the roadway and struck a guardrail, according to a Washington State Patrol crash memo.

Gromlovits died at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, the crash memo states.

He was wearing a helmet, according to the State Patrol, which is investigating.

It’s unknown if alcohol or drugs were involved, troopers said.
