Letter: Trump should take the hint

By Peter Brown, Vancouver

If you think about it, how many times does Donald Trump have to lose to get the hint that we just do not want him?

The first time, he ran he lost the popular vote by about 7 million votes. The next time around, he lost the popular and the electoral college vote.

Not so long ago, he was hauled off to court, and was found guilty of 34 counts in the first round of trials.

Now he is campaigning on the promise to punish “we the people” for having so mistreated him.

At some point we will have to bring back the death sentence to get rid of him, even though he will assure us that three days afterward he will return.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
