Letter: Thanks for food donations

As coordinator of the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, I want to thank the postal customers for their food drive donations to the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. We were able to collect 19,905 pounds of food. That is equal to 23,886 meals.

Our local Vancouver branch 1104 of the National Association of Letter Carriers donated $25,000, equal to 105,000 meals. All of this will help feed the hungry! Also, we want to thank all the volunteers who helped!

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
