VANCOUVER – The Portland Rose Festival recently announced the awards and results from all three parades: Grand Floral Parade, Fred Meyer Junior Parade and CareOregon Starlight Parade.
The city of Vancouver was awarded the Rose Festival’s Directors’ Award for the best depiction of volunteerism.
Battle Ground High School, Columbia River High School, Heritage High School, Hockinson High School, Mountain View High School, Skyview High School and Hockinson Middle School received Gold Standard awards.
Hudson’s Bay High School received a Silver Standard award.
Tukes Valley Middle School and Cascade Middle School tied for the Band Sweepstakes Award.
