Letter: Trump is guilty — period

Donald Trump is a convicted felon. A jury of 12 men and women heard all the evidence from testimony and documents and they voted guilty on all 34 counts.

Now the Republican politicians are doing what I thought they would do — whining and blaming everyone they can think of by making false statements about the prosecution, the judge, the jury and even Joe Biden.

Eight Republican senators have vowed to oppose all Biden nominees and Democratic legislation. Looks like they are having a temper tantrum, picking up their toys and going home. Trump on the other hand is wanting to look like a martyr.

Biden had nothing to do with this case. It is a state prosecution not federal; 12 independent jurors found him guilty. Biden didn’t know them. These jurors served their community for eight weeks.

Trump was found guilty — period! He was convicted of falsification of business records. That is a felony in New York. On July 11, Trump will be sentenced. I highly doubt that he will be sent to jail. Probation? Probably.

This all started with Trump cheating on his wife multiple times with a porn star and a Playboy model. Republican politicians won’t mention that.
