Star of the game: Bellingham outfielder Jason Shedlock (Cal State San Bernardino) went 3 for 3 with a double and two RBI to lead the Bells (4-3) in the opening game of a three-game West Coast League series at Joe Martin Field.
Raptors bats: Ridgefield (1-5) was held to three hits while striking out 10 times and leaving just two runners on base. … Jack Salmon (Golden West College) went 1 for 4 with a double and a run scored, Justin Stranskey (Fresno State) made his debut by going 1 for 3, Caden Stinson (Pierce College) was 1 for 3, and Curtis Herbert (Portland) drove in Ridgefield’s only run with a sacrifice fly in the fourth inning.
