Letter: We deserve better roads

We all see the conditions of our roadways, which are poor this time of year. But you know it takes major surgery to make one try to find ones that are smooth to travel on to appreciate the beauty of traveling in Clark County. After a recent trip just a short distance, it was time to head home for a nap. Those that have to be on the roads for work, I appreciate your daily effort to do your jobs.

We citizens of Clark County deserve better roadways. Maybe it’s time to seriously look at a moratorium to fix the issues before more growth is allowed to add more unsafe roadways. Try taking 99th Street from Hazel Dell to Lake Shore Avenue to see just how bad they are. It is worse now than when we had all the building/truck traffic in this area.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
