Letter: Expand help for veterans

By Ron Abbey, VANCOUVER

Good news in the city newsletter. Funding for the Council for the Homeless gets them a new place to work and will definitely help them and their clients. Next up, the Washington Department of Veterans Affairs and Clark County dish out a big chunk of money to get the Clark County Veterans Assistance Center a new home so they can expand their services, too, considering they outgrew the current residence at 1305 Columbia St. years ago. Of course, that’s just me fantasizing.
