Pride party
Dandelion Teahouse and Apothecary, 109 W. Seventh St., Vancouver, will host the third annual “Pride Block Party: Celebrating Growth, Community and Inclusivity” from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday on Seventh Street between Main and Washington. The free event, cohosted by the Queer Youth Resource Center, will include family-friendly activities, live performances and a “Wear Your Pride” Fashion Show. Fantastic beasts
Downtown Camas’ June First Friday theme is “Unicorns, Rainbows & Mythical Beasts,” 5 to 8 p.m. Friday in downtown Camas. Activities include a scavenger hunt, art shows and receptions in downtown galleries (including a ribbon cutting for the new RedDoor Gallery, 411 N.E. Dallas St.), games with prizes, crafts for kids and after-hours shopping. Music al fresco
Music in the Park is noon to 6 p.m. Saturday in downtown Vancouver’s John Ball Park at West 23rd Street and Kauffman. Bring a blanket or folding chairs to sit on, pack a picnic basket with goodies and enjoy live music in the park. Stop at the Sons of Norway Lodge, 2400 Grant St., for a “galodge” sale and $5 lunch of hot dog, chips and soda. Rose and rhumba
La Uva Fortuna Farms, 16712 N.E. 219th St., Battle Ground, will host “Sip & Sway,” a drop-in dance class from 6 to 7 p.m. every Friday through Aug. 30. A professional instructor will teach a different dance style every week. On the first Friday of the month, learn rhumba and swing. On the second Friday, learn country dancing and two-step.
