Letter: Judicial system works

By Michael Seitzinger, VANCOUVER
Published: June 6, 2024, 6:00am

The greatest threat to our democracy is from within; witness the attacks on the judicial system by the leaders of what has become of the GOP and its propaganda network. Not one has come forward to acknowledge that Trump might just be a criminal and the system worked. He is their hope to lead the replacement of our democracy with an autocratic system that they will control.

It should be remembered that Trump was: 1) convicted in a New York court; 2) of charges brought by the State of New York; 3) for violation of state laws; and 4) unanimously convicted by residents of that state. Joe Biden and the Justice Department had nothing to do with this case.

Your vote in November may well determine whether you will have the right to vote in 2028.
