Interstate 5 northbound lanes close nightly in Woodland this month

Recurring for roundup

Road work will trigger single- and double-lane closures on northbound Interstate 5 this month in Woodland as crews restart work on the North Fork Lewis River Bridge. Drivers should expect nighttime delays.

Closures will occur 7 p.m. to 11 a.m. on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, as well as 7 p.m. to 9:30 a.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. No closures are expected on Saturdays.

Crews will perform bridge deck repairs and complete overlay work that was not completed last fall due to rain. In July, crews will move to southbound I-5 to begin repair work on the parallel bridge.

To keep both travelers and workers safe, people are asked to slow down, pay attention and use caution through the work zone.
