Vancouver man sent to hospital after he crashes his BMW on Interstate 5 near Kelso

Driver wasn't wearing seatbelt, Washington State Patrol reports

LONGVIEW — A Vancouver man reportedly driving impaired crashed his BMW on Interstate 5 early Sunday near Kelso and was sent to the hospital.

Washington State Patrol reports in a memo Sebastian A. Wells, 21, was headed north around 4:15 a.m. when his car left the roadway, struck the right guardrail, then crossed all lanes and hit the concrete barrier on the other side.

He wasn’t wearing a seatbelt and was injured, the memo states. He was sent to PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview.

His 2016 BMW 328 was totaled and troopers are pursuing DUI charges.
