PORTLAND — The second game of the season for the Ridgefield Raptors ended much like the first — with a shutout defeat.

Five Portland Pickles pitchers combined on a four-hit shutout as the Pickles beat the Raptors 5-0 on Saturday in a West Coast League game at Walker Stadium.

Justin Tsukada went 2 for 4 for the Raptors, and Kyle Memarian and Luke Iverson added singles for the Raptors.

Damien Pantoya took the loss for Ridgefield (0-2), despite just allowing one run on one hit over four innings of work.

The season-opening series concludes with 6:05 p.m. game Sunday at Walker Stadium.
