Clark County Quilters donate to Northwest Battle Buddies

VANCOUVER — Karen Streeter of Clark County Quilters presented the funds raised from the group’s 2024 Opportunity Quilt at its May meeting. Northwest Battle Buddies was the honored nonprofit. Ovie Muntean, chief operating officer and co-founder of Northwest Battle Buddies, received the check for $5,556, and Sam, one of the newest graduates with his service dog, shared his personal story as a veteran. Northwest Battle Buddies gifts professionally trained service dogs to veterans battling PTSD, helping them regain their freedom and independence.
