Letter: Protect freedom, reject Trump

By Michael Seitzinger, VANCOUVER

The last couple of weeks in politics have certainly been interesting. The candidate whose main attack line was that the opponent was too old and incoherent to serve is now in that position. When else has a candidate come out and said 1) if he loses there will be World War III and 2) if he wins no one will be voting in 2028 under his dictatorship?

If JD Vance is an example of Trump’s decision-making, it is not one the Trumpies were looking for.

Our convicted felon, a man of many indictments, is likely to face a former prosecutor in the November election. Trump denies knowing anything about the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025 even though 31 of his foundation-vetted staffers were contributors. With the Supreme Court ruling on immunity, Trump believes he can do anything when president and not be held accountable.

If you want your children and/or grandchildren to enjoy the freedoms you have had, vote for anyone but Trump.
