Vancouver-based Barrett Business Services Inc. reported a 6 percent increase in revenue in the second quarter of 2024 compared with the second quarter a year ago. The company’s latest earnings report released Wednesday showed revenues were $279.7 million in the second quarter of this year, compared with $264.6 million a year ago.
Net income was $16.7 million, or 62 cents per diluted share, compared with $17 million, also 62 cents per diluted share, in the second quarter of 2023.
The company trades on the Nasdaq as BBSI. Its stock closed Wednesday at $36.44 per share, down from Tuesday’s $36.39.
