Historic site could be home to retailers, make downtown a destination

Downtown Ridgefield’s Greely Building revitalization is one step closer to reality.

The Port of Ridgefield, which owns the century-old building at 304 Pioneer St., announced last week it received a $3 million grant from the state to help convert the space into a business hub.

Port Deputy Director Ethan Perry called the Washington State Community Economic Revitalization Board grant a “game-changer” for the project.
