Camas Lions announces ‘Even Better Together’ theme for upcoming year

CAMAS — Building on the success of last year’s “Better Together” initiative, Camas Lions Club President Stephanie O’Dell announced the theme for the upcoming year: “Even Better Together!”

This theme reflects the club’s commitment to fostering collaboration and achieving even greater results through teamwork.

“Inspired by Helen Keller’s quote, ‘Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much,’ last year’s ‘Better Together’ initiative led to incredible accomplishments,” said O’Dell. “We witnessed the power of collaboration in projects like food drives, the Treasure House weekend backpack program, ReFuel Friday Meals, and our first golf tournament.”

This year, the club aims to elevate collaboration to a new level. Key goals include:

• Enhancing brainstorming and project impact by encouraging committee members to push each other’s ideas further, ultimately leading to projects with a greater impact on the community.
• Expanding community reach through partnerships with other Lions Clubs and local organizations.
• Embodying the “Better Together” spirit through collaboration and teamwork in everything the club undertakes.

“We are incredibly proud of what we achieved together in 2023-2024,” said O’Dell. “With the ‘Even Better Together’ theme guiding us, I’m excited to see what we can accomplish as a team this year!”
