James and Kimberly McPhee, owners of Ridgefield-based McPhee Family Farms, opened their new butcher shop in Woodland in June, just in time for prime grilling season.

For now, the glass cases at McPhee’s Butcher Block are filled with cuts of meat from farms in Washington and Oregon. They soon will be selling products that they raised and processed, giving customers the opportunity to visit a retail space where they can buy high-quality meat directly from a local farmer and rancher.
