Clark County Public Works will host an open house on upcoming work planned for Northeast 182nd Avenue from 6-8 p.m. Aug. 1 at the Fire District 3 station, 17718 N.E. 159th St., in Brush Prairie. The presentation portion of the open house will also be streamed online.
At the open house, staff will share the draft concept during a presentation from 6:30-7 p.m. Before and after the presentation, residents are invited to review and discuss the plan with staff. Light refreshments will be provided.
Planned work calls for replacing the stop sign at the intersection of Northeast 182nd Avenue and Risto Road with a roundabout. Other improvements will include reducing the slope at Northeast 199th Street/Risto Road and 176th Avenue and resurfacing Northeast 199th Street/Risto Road from Northeast 167th Avenue to the Salmon Creek bridge at Northeast 182nd Avenue. The changes are intended to increase the safety and reliability of travel and reduce congestion.
