‘Hold My Beer’ is a love letter to Vancouver from beer-loving author turned filmmaker

Vancouver author Brian Tashima intends to take viewers on a hero’s journey that begins in the isolation that autism can bring, treks through several friendly Vancouver locations and heads off into the sunset of craft-brewing destiny.

Tashima’s 30-minute pilot project, “Hold My Beer,” is a love letter to Vancouver — and to a pair of specific communities here that might not seem to overlap — people with autism and people who love brewing beer.
