RIDGEFIELD — Growth in math and English language arts proficiency rates during the 2022-2023 school year earned Sunset Ridge Intermediate School acknowledgement from the Washington School Recognition Program.

The Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction partners with the State Board of Education and Educational Opportunity Gap Oversight and Accountability Committee to identify and recognize schools for the program.

“This achievement reflects the dedication and hard work of our students, teachers and staff. However, we see this recognition not as a final destination, but as a milestone in our ongoing journey of continual improvement,” said Todd Graves, principal of Sunset Ridge Intermediate School.
