Local scout earns Eagle rank

BRUSH PRAIRIE — Kegan DeCarlo joined Boy Scouts of America Pack 306 as a Tiger scout in 2016. With the guidance of his cubmaster and leaders he crossed over as an Arrow of Light into Troop 475 in 2021. For his Eagle project, DeCarlo designed and completed two stone pathways in the Water Wise Garden at NatureScaping Wildlife Botanic Garden. He spent around 70 hours working on the project in total. On May 9, he reached his goal and became an Eagle Scout at the age of 14.
