Hunter Katschke went 3 for 4 with three runs and belted a two-run home run in the first inning to propel the Ridgefield Raptors to their eighth consecutive win, beating the Springfield Drifters 10-2 on Saturday in Springfield, Ore.
Dasan Harris also went 3 for 5 as seven Raptors hitters collected at least one hit. Harris’ two-run single capped a five-run fourth that put Ridgefield up 7-0.
Three Raptors pitchers combined for six innings of one-hit relief. Dylan Richardson (Edmonds CC/Union High) struck out three over three innings. Ryan McClaskey (Lower Columbia CC/Camas High) struck out two over two innings, and Damian Pantoya (Texas A&M) pitched a perfect ninth.
The Raptors, now 8-0 in the second half of the West Coast League season, closes out the three-game series in Springfield at 4:05 p.m. Sunday.
