Recap: The Raptors tied the game at 4-4 on Isaiah Chacon’s RBI double in the ninth inning, and then he added another two-run double in a four-run 13th inning to help extend Ridgefield’s winning streak to seven games. Jack Salmon (Golden West College), who scored the tying run in the ninth, broke the 4-4 tie with a one-out single in the 13th, and Andrew Grenert (Loyola Marymount) doubled home Chacon (Mt. Hood CC). … Ridgefield led 3-0 going into the bottom of the fourth when Springfield scored four runs on four hits to take the lead 4-3.
Raptors bats: Hunter Katschke (Utah Tech), who was 0 for 4 on Thursday against Walla Walla, hit three doubles in going 3 for 6 with an RBI and three runs scored to raise his batting average to .351 over 19 games. … Chacon was 3 for 5 with his two doubles and three RBI. … Of Ridgefield’s 16 hits, seven were doubles.
Raptors arms: Camden Oram (Linfield) picked up his first win by throwing the last three innings. He allowed one run on four hits with a strikeout. … Starter Curtis Hebert (Portland) went six innings. He allowed four runs on six hits with five strikeouts and a walk. … Logan Anderson (Portland) pitched four hitless innings of middle relief with three strikeouts and two walks.
