The festival features blueberry sales, blueberry-pie baking and eating contests and a vendor market. Rainbows in the park

The Southwest Washington Pride Alliance presents Saturday in the Park Pride from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in Esther Short Park, southwest Sixth and Esther streets in downtown Vancouver. The event features live entertainment, dancing, food vendors and an extensive market showcasing artisan items. The event also features booths with information and resources from groups and businesses that support the LGBTQ+ community. Learn more at swwapa.org.

Shore thing

The Columbia River’s north shore is the place to be 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays for the Vancouver Waterfront Concert Series, today through Aug. 15. Enjoy a mix of music from around the world at Vancouver Waterfront Park, 115 S.E. Columbia Way. Bring a picnic or grab a bite at a restaurant. Alcohol is not permitted in parks. The Parks Foundation of Clark County will host parking with a donation in the lot across from Vancouver City Hall on Sixth Street. Today’s featured artist is Curtis Salgado.

Art in bloom

NatureScaping will host Art in the Garden, an outdoor art show and sale, at CASEE, 11104 N.E. 149th St, Brush Prairie, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Explore artisan booths, enjoy live music, enter a raffle benefiting the gardens, watch spinning demonstrations, see a composting and recycling demonstration and tour the many beautiful and blooming wildlife botanical gardens.
