Letter: Ruling endangers democracy

By Lynn Brown, Vancouver

The Supreme Court ruling that a president has immunity for lawless activities if it is an official act endangers our democracy. Trump if elected president has a hit list of people that he wants to jail. Liz Cheney, Merrick Garland, Joe Biden, Adam Schiff, Nancy Pelosi and more. We are getting closer and closer to 1930s Germany, I fear. Our country’s future is at stake. We must never elect Trump or a Trump-like president again. Do we want an authoritarian dictator or a great American democracy? Trump has a plan for America that is scary. It’s called Project 2025. Look it up.
